What’s new in January?

As 2011 comes to an end, it is time to start and try something new, right? So this week, I’ve come up with the brand new films that are going to hit the cinema this month.

“The Girl with Dragon Tattoo”
Genre: crime, drama, mystery
Cast: Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara

The movie is based on the first book of The Millennium Trilogy, written by Stieg Larsson. (*The Millennium series are very popular among millions of readers around the world as they became the best-selling novel in Europe and the US.) The movie is about a woman named Lisbeth Salander who earns a living as a computer hacker. One day, she accidentally becomes Mikael Blomkvist ‘s assistant, a journalist who has been hired by a billionaire for searching his missing niece. They’ve got many problems to solve. Do you think they can gather all the pieces of the puzzle together? How? Who is the real criminal? Let’s find out the truth together on 5th, January, 2012.

“The Darkest Hour” (3D)
Genre: action, horror, sci-fi

The story takes place in Moscow, Russia, where a group of American teenagers struggle to survive from an alien invasion. The aliens invading the earth need to consume energy. While the government and scientists have been unable to overcome these aliens, the group of American teenagers has found ways to overcome them. Unfortunately, the aliens have special ability; they are invisible to humans! How can they overcome these cruel aliens? Do you think they can save the world? Don’t miss out on the excitement when The Darkest Hour hits the cinema on January 5.

  2. Yes, it's interesting. I saw this book in a bookstore a million times and it said number1 best seller at the top. I really wonder what makes it become famous. So I need to prove it by myself. I definitely give the reviews here after watching this movie:)

  3. I've read all three of the books and they were great. All three have been made into movies already but this it the first Hollywood version.

In the future, I think it's best for you to only review movies that you have already seen.

Watch the movie, take some notes, then write your blog in your own words. I don't think it's a good idea to write anything based on reading other reviews.

    What do you think?

This was my first time writing this blog and I didn't know where to start. So I just want to keep my readers up to date with the latest movies. Since I didn't know what the movie is about, I had to read the movie storyline in a Thai website and then translated to English.

Next time I'll only review the movies I've already seen.

    Thanks for your suggestion.
